card restoration Brisbane

Cards stored in the Queensland humidity need a careful eye.

South East Queensland stores its cards in a humid subtropical climate. Hot, stormy summers and muggy wet spells are hard on cardboard, so the questions here are as much about conservation as they are about cosmetics.

  • Mail-in restoration from Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast and regional QLD.
  • Humidity-aware assessment for warping, cupping, foxing and surface mould.
  • Pokemon, sports, MTG, Yu-Gi-Oh, One Piece and Lorcana cleaning and repair.
  • PSA, BGS, PCG, ACE and CGC grading middleman after conservation work.

Photo assessment

Start with a photo assessment

Send photos first, especially of any cupping, foxing or surface haze. Humidity damage is not always reversible, so an honest assessment before you ship saves you the postage on cards that cannot realistically improve.

Best for
Brisbane and South East Queensland collectors dealing with humid storage conditions who need cleaning, mould and warp assessment, repair and grading prep.

At the bench

A CardRevive pre-grading inspection sheet beneath a magnifier on the assessment bench.
Each card is checked under magnification before any work is agreed.

Why CardRevive

Conservation first in a humid climate.

Subtropical storage causes problems slabs and sleeves cannot always prevent: adhesion on foils, wavy stock, spotting on borders. Each Brisbane card is judged on whether the damage is surface-level and treatable or baked into the stock.

We confirm what is reversible, quote the work, then route to grading or return.

Can you fix cards damaged by Queensland humidity?

Sometimes. Surface mould, spotting and light warping can often be improved. Deep cupping, absorbed moisture and foxing set into the stock may only improve partially, and we say so before treating.

Should I flatten a warped card myself before sending it?

No. Home flattening can crease or delaminate a humidity-softened card. Send it as-is with photos and let the assessment decide whether flattening is safe.

How should I store cards in a humid climate afterwards?

Stable, cooler conditions with some airflow and silica help. We can talk through storage when returning the cards, but we do not sell storage products.

Do you accept submissions from the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast?

Yes. The same mail-in workflow covers all of South East Queensland and regional QLD.

Intake · Sydney

Send us your worst card.

Start the submission flow, package your cards, and ship them to the Sydney lab for assessment.

A$10 inspection per card. If restoration is unnecessary, you skip the tier fee and can grade where requested or have the card returned untreated. If our service has a problem, contact us so we can put it right.

Every card is assessed before any work. No grade is ever guaranteed, and we never recolour.
