Yu-Gi-Oh card restoration in Australia for Konami holos and vintage sets like LOB: edge whitening, back whitening, holofoil scratches, creases and PSA grading prep.
Yu-Gi-Oh card restoration Australia
Yu-Gi-Oh! cards wear in ways every collector recognises. The dark borders of Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon (LOB) and other early Konami sets show edge whitening fast, card backs whiten at the edges and corners from shuffling and play, and Ultra, Secret and Ghost Rare holofoils pick up surface scratches under handling. Each era needs its own approach on the bench.
Photo assessment
Send photos first, build a portal submission, then post the card only when the scope makes sense. Every Yu-Gi-Oh! card is assessed for restoration upside, grading risk and whether the value justifies treatment.
Why CardRevive
Vintage Yu-Gi-Oh! stock is thin and the dark borders show wear fast, so every card is scoped and priced before any work starts. The base figures below come from the restoration price list. Specialty repairs sit outside the base minimum as flat fees: indent A$100, crease A$200 with a quote required, and corner correction A$20.
Per-card inspection fee before any Yu-Gi-Oh! restoration is confirmed.
Standard restoration, A$25 per card minimum, quoted after assessment. Specialty repairs are priced separately.
Typical grading improvement restoration work achieves before submission.
Services
Yu-Gi-Oh! card cleaning, edge whitening work, holofoil scratch reduction and PSA prep, scoped per card after assessment, with honest advice when treatment is not worth it.
Card-safe cleaning for grime, fingerprints and handling residue on vintage and modern Yu-Gi-Oh! cards where the finish allows.
Targeted work on the whitened dark borders that early Konami sets show quickly, assessed edge by edge.
Careful surface work on Ultra, Secret and Ghost Rare holofoils where the finish can safely tolerate treatment.
Bench assessment for dents, impressions and creases. These are flat-fee specialty repairs priced separately from the base tier: indent A$100, crease A$200 with a quote required.
Process
Send front, back and angled-light photos through the portal or WhatsApp so we can confirm whether restoration is worth assessing.
Once received, the card is checked under light and magnification for border whitening, back wear, holofoil scratches and creases.
The agreed work is completed at the bench, then final photos and next-step grading options are attached to the submission record.
The dark borders on early Konami sets show whitening badly, and it is one of the most common Yu-Gi-Oh! requests. We can reduce the appearance of border whitening on many cards, but deep fraying and paper loss will not fully return to the original border.
Some holofoil scratches and scuffs can be reduced, but not every scratch can be safely removed. Deep cuts, missing foil and heavy surface damage on Ultra, Secret and Ghost Rares may only improve visually rather than disappear.
If the card has removable surface issues or repairable flaws, restoration can improve presentation before grading. We do not guarantee grades because PSA, BGS, PCG, ACE and CGC make their own decisions on every card.
