Premier Card Grading worldwide
Premier Card Grading, commonly shortened to PCG, is an independent grading company for licensed trading cards and eligible modern sports cards, with an Australian submission pathway and Sydney drop-off, working with collectors worldwide. CardRevive’s exclusive co-branded tier operates through the Australian submission pathway. PCG independently assesses the physical card, assigns the final grade and encapsulates eligible cards in its collector slab.
PCG’s published grading model uses four subgrades: centering, corners, edges and surface. Its double-sided label carries the grade information on the front and card details on the back, where the CardRevive mark appears on submissions made through this exclusive pathway.

Every card submitted to PCG through CardRevive carries the CardRevive mark. When PCG applies the co-branded label, the CardRevive logo is permanently printed on the back of the PCG label above its QR code. It records the route the card took to grading. The grading assessment is PCG’s alone.
The CardRevive mark records how a card reached PCG, not what condition it arrived in. It appears on every card we submit, including cards inspected and forwarded without any treatment. Where restoration work has been carried out, it is disclosed to PCG before grading and assessed as part of the card’s condition. The grade reflects the card as PCG receives it. Why this pathway is different
The partnership creates a disclosed route between the professional who inspected or treated the card and the company that independently grades it.
The co-branded label connects the finished PCG holder to the CardRevive submission pathway, giving future collectors a recognisable point of provenance.
PCG independently assesses centering, corners, edges and surface under its published grading model.
Where PCG provides grader observations or condition notes through the partner workflow, CardRevive can discuss those findings, documented prior work and whether another customer-approved treatment may be technically appropriate. PCG still controls every grading decision.
CardRevive coordinates the handoff, packing and communication with PCG so restoration and grading do not become separate, disconnected jobs.
Three ways to submit
Use the same CardRevive portal whether the card needs direct forwarding, a professional inspection or restoration before grading.
Choose the PCG service in the CardRevive portal when you want grading without restoration. We complete intake and coordinate the consolidated PCG submission.
Ask CardRevive to review the card first. If no treatment is approved, the card can continue to PCG through the same exclusive pathway.
Approve restoration through the normal CardRevive process, then have the finished card submitted to PCG for independent assessment and grading.
PCG grading feedback
Where PCG provides observed defects or condition notes through the partner workflow, CardRevive can discuss those findings, explain documented prior work and identify whether further customer-approved restoration may be technically appropriate before any new submission.
This feedback is diagnostic, not a promised grading outcome. PCG’s standards and final decisions remain independent; further work may be declined and may not change a grade, classification or eligibility decision.

Independent standards
PCG independently assesses authenticity, condition, eligibility, classification and the final grade under its own current standards. CardRevive can explain what was observed or done to the card, but cannot determine or guarantee the result.
CardRevive-arranged Australian postage for the consolidated PCG submission carries up to A$5,000 Australia Post Extra Cover for the entire consignment. This is a package limit, not a per-card limit. While a consolidated submission is with PCG, handling is governed by PCG’s current applicable terms. Contact CardRevive before submitting when the combined declared value exceeds A$5,000.
PCG accepts a wide variety of licensed trading cards and eligible modern sports cards. Card dimensions, thickness, authenticity and condition must meet PCG’s current requirements, and PCG makes the final eligibility decision.
Questions before you submit
The CardRevive mark appears on every CardRevive submission and records the route the card took to PCG, not its condition. A card may have been inspected and forwarded without treatment. Where restoration work has been carried out, it is disclosed to PCG before grading and assessed as part of the card’s condition.
No. PCG independently decides eligibility, authenticity, classification, grade and subgrades under its own standards. CardRevive cannot promise a grade or that PCG will encapsulate a particular card.
PCG retains discretion to decline or return a card ungraded. Declined-card returns and any applicable refund are handled under the current CardRevive and PCG submission terms.
PCG can contact CardRevive about inspection observations and any documented work. That provides technical context only; PCG still applies its own standards and makes the final decision independently.

A$10 inspection per card on mail-in and online submissions. If restoration is unnecessary, you skip the tier fee and can grade where requested or have the card returned untreated. If our service has a problem, contact us so we can put it right.
