How CardRevive collects, stores and uses your information.
CardRevive ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it under the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
When you submit cards or contact us, we collect: your full name, postal address (intake and return), email address, phone number, the contents and condition of cards submitted, photographs of cards taken during inspection and treatment, and any service preferences you supply.
When you visit cardrevive.com.au we may collect technical information automatically (IP address, device type, browser, referring URL, pages visited) via standard server logs and analytics cookies.
We use your information to: assess and complete your submission, communicate updates and quotes, dispatch your cards back to you or to a grading partner, process payments, prevent fraud, and improve the website.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use submission data for marketing without your explicit consent.
We share information only with the providers needed to deliver the service: payment processors (Stripe), shipping carriers (Australia Post and partner couriers), grading houses (PSA, BGS, PCG, ACE) when you choose middleman grading, our hosting provider, and Resend (newsletter email delivery).
Each provider is bound by their own privacy practices and is required to handle your information confidentially.
Submission records and customer information are stored on secure cloud infrastructure. Card photographs and case files are retained for at least 24 months for warranty and dispute resolution. Payment details are not stored by us. They are tokenised by Stripe.
We take reasonable steps to protect against loss, misuse, alteration and unauthorised access, but no online system is 100% secure.
If you subscribe to CardRevive Weekly, we collect and store your email address via Resend (our email newsletter processor). Resend acts as a data processor on our behalf and is bound by its own privacy policy at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
We store: your email address, the date and time of subscription, and your subscription status. Your IP address is used solely for rate-limiting at the point of signup and is discarded within 24 hours — it is not stored against your subscriber record.
Your email is retained until you unsubscribe. You may unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email, or by emailing info@cardrevive.com.au. To access, correct or delete your subscriber data, contact us at info@cardrevive.com.au.
You may request access to or correction of your personal information at any time by emailing info@cardrevive.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.
If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, you may complain in writing to us first; if unresolved, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always available at cardrevive.com.au/privacy and the effective date will be revised below.
