card restoration Hobart
Tasmania's collector community sits across Bass Strait from every mainland service, and mail already makes the crossing by air or sea freight as standard. Mail-in gives Hobart collectors access to a full restoration bench without leaving the island, with the same documented workflow as any mainland submission.
Photo assessment
Everything posted to the mainland crosses Bass Strait as a matter of routine. Build the portal submission, pack the cards dry and rigid, and post tracked; the record follows the card from your post office to the bench and back.

No. Tasmanian mail crosses by air or sea freight as standard, so the crossing is routine for Australia Post. Use tracked postage and rigid packaging, and keep the lodgement receipt until arrival is confirmed.
Cool temperate conditions are generally kind to cardboard, but cold rooms with poor airflow can hold moisture and encourage surface spotting over time. Pack cards dry for transit and flag any existing spotting in your submission photos.
