Why We Are Making These Changes

Over the past year, CardRevive has grown from a small specialist operation into a fully staffed restoration centre with a physical storefront in Penshurst. With that growth has come a sharp rise in rent, equipment, administration and staffing costs. At the same time, demand has grown beyond anything we anticipated: we recently received around 400 cards within five days, and we are currently receiving between 2.5 and 4 times more cards than our trained team can safely complete each week.

These changes let us control intake, protect turnaround times and keep doing careful work on every card. We will keep hiring and training the right people, but we will not rush training or compromise the safety of your cards to accept more work.

The short version up front: submissions lodged before 1 September 2026 are priced under the current structure, and any submission already formally accepted keeps its agreed pricing. The new rates apply to submissions lodged from 1 September 2026.

Section 2

Inspection and Grading Options

Grading only, no inspection: free. If your submission is complete and you simply want your cards forwarded for grading, there is no inspection fee. Cards are checked in and processed according to the information you provide, without an inspection, pregrade or condition assessment from us.

Mail-in and online submissions: $10 per card. A basic visual check for obvious concerns before your cards are sent for grading. This does not include cleaning, restoration or a full pregrade assessment.

In-person inspection: $20 per card, for cards inspected and discussed with you at the counter. If you book restoration on the spot, $10 of this fee is credited toward that work. In-person inspections remain subject to staff availability.

Inspection, Clean and Pregrade: $30 per card, in addition to the inspection fee. Designed to be completed the same day your grading submission is checked in, subject to daily capacity. It includes a visual inspection, a basic surface spray and wipe, identification of visible defects, and a pregrade assessment before submission. With the inspection fee included, the total is $40 per card for mail-in and online submissions, or $50 per card in person.

This service does not include pressing, restoration, stain removal, adhesive removal, indent repair, crease treatment, corner correction or any other specialist work, and there is no percentage-based charge. The pregrade is our professional opinion based on the card's visible condition; it does not guarantee the grade a grading company will award.

Section 3

Restoration Pricing

All percentage pricing is calculated on the card's agreed value, confirmed with you before any work begins. The percentage reflects the responsibility, risk, expertise and care involved in working on cards of different values.

Standard Restoration: 7.5%, minimum $50 per card. Turnaround 90 to 120 business days. Limited to 15 cards per customer per calendar month.

Express Restoration: 10%, minimum $75 per card. Turnaround 50 to 75 business days.

Priority Restoration: 12.5%, minimum $125 per card. Turnaround from 15 business days.

48-Hour Priority: 20%, minimum $500 per card. Available by approval only, with a maximum of 5 cards per person per week. Spots are strictly limited. Cards approved for this service are assessed straight away. The 48-hour turnaround begins once your cards have been physically received, checked in, assessed and approved; shipping and grading-company turnaround times are not included.

Specialist Repairs

Indent repair: $100 per card, added to your chosen restoration tier.

Crease treatment: $200 per card plus 2.5% of the agreed card value, added to your chosen tier. The additional 2.5% applies to Standard, Express and Priority; it does not apply to the 48-Hour Priority tier, though the $200 fee still does.

Mould removal: $150 per card. This is a specialist conservation treatment, separate from the basic surface clean included in Inspection, Clean and Pregrade.

Slab cracking: $20 per card. Corner correction ($20) and standalone pregrade analysis ($10) continue unchanged.

All indent and crease work remains subject to inspection and approval. Complete removal, improvement or a specific grading outcome cannot be guaranteed, and cards with severe structural damage may be declined or individually quoted.

Section 5

Submission Rules

Submissions are locked once lodged. Places cannot be reserved or held while cards are added, and cards cannot be added to a lodged submission. Additional cards form a new submission at the pricing, limits and turnaround times current at that time.

If you make a mistake, you can withdraw a submission within 24 hours of lodging it, adjust it, and lodge it again.

Section 6

CardRevive Partner Program

We are also expanding the CardRevive Partner Program. Approved partners can offer CardRevive services from their own location at partner pricing across every tier, including Standard, with up to 120 Standard Restoration cards per calendar month.

Higher-tier partner submissions remain subject to capacity, and 48-Hour Priority requires our approval before a partner confirms it to their customer. Partner allocations do not accumulate or carry over, and partner submissions also lock at lodgement. Eligibility, pricing and full terms will be provided separately.

Section 7

Existing Submissions

Any submission lodged before 1 September 2026 is priced under the current structure once accepted, and any submission already formally accepted keeps its agreed pricing. The new rates and service structure apply to submissions lodged from 1 September 2026. Acceptance always remains subject to capacity and our intake rules.
